McDougall Farm Community Garden is a project initiated in 2012 by the City of South Perth for the benefit of residents. Today, the project is being carried forward by local residents of all ages and abilities.
Our intent is to create a supportive gardening environment and community hub for all residents of the City. We aim to promote a sense of community, where effort, knowledge, skill and responsibility are shared. Where creativity, quality and the environment are nurtured. Where trust and philanthropy can flourish. Our members respect the heritage of the site, other users of the Neil McDougall Park, people of all ages and ethnicity.
McDougall Farm Community Garden has regular activities days throughout the week where volunteers are directly involved in looking after the garden. We are also passionate about supporting local organisations that give back to our local community. Volunteers' benefit from the knowledge their efforts are assisting people when they are in need.
